Q) How long has Tom’s Fine Furniture and Collectables been in business?
A) We’ve been in business since 1981! That’s over 35 years!

Q) Is there really a Tom?
A) Yes, there is, and he’s probably out buying furniture right now.

Q) Do you consign items?
A) We don’t consign items. We buy all of our merchandise outright. It’s a win-win for you and for us!

Q) What kind of things do you buy?
A) That depends on many factors, including what our customers like, what people have requested, what’s in vogue, the condition, the quality, and of course the cost.

Q) How do I go about getting an appointment to show you things I’d like to sell? Do you come out to the house?
A) Due to the high volume of requests we get from people just like you who are interested in selling their cast-off furnishings, we do not make appointments until and unless we know you have something that will interest us. Please go to our HAVE SOMETHING TO SELL? page for more information.

Q) Do you negotiate prices on the items in your stores?
A) Because we price our items fairly and as low as we can, our prices are firm.

Q) What forms of payment do you accept?
A) We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover), cash, and personal or company checks (with current state-issued ID)

Q) Do you deliver?
A) We offer delivery to Tucson and surrounding communities for a fee. Deliveries are made on Saturday mornings only. Please contact one of our stores for rates and info.

Q) What is your return policy? Can I try a piece in my home and return it if I don’t like it?
A) We’re sorry, we don’t lend out our merchandise, and all sales are final. Our only exception is with lampshades. We will accept returns on any of our new lampshades as long as the plastic and original tags are still on the shades and they are returned in the same condition as they were when they left the store.

Q)  I have a lamp that needs a new shade. Can I bring in the old shade and see if you can match it?
A) Actually, we recommend you bring the lamp, as many old shades cannot be matched identically. With the lamp, you can try on new shades for the style, color, size and scale and see what works best. That’s almost impossible to do with just the shade alone. LAMP SHADES ARE LOCATED AT OUR NEW GRANT ROAD STORE ONLY.

Q) If I see something I like but I  want to think about it or go home and take measurements, can I put a down payment on it?
A) We make it easier than that. Just ask one of our salespeople to put a hold on the item. Holds are free, and are good until the end of the following business day. And there is no obligation for you to buy anything you have on hold if it isn’t going to work for you.

Q) Is Tom’s on social media?

Q) Are you open on Sundays?
A) Yes! All of our stores are open on Sundays from 11 am until 4 pm.

Q) Are you open on holidays?
A) We are open most holidays. We only close for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Shorter holiday hours may apply for any other holiday which we are open.
